"Terrible customer service. Their answer for anything and everything is " you go call someone" UNLESS they're trying to SELL you a policy. Then they wont stop contacting you. Their mindset is WRONG here. First, resolve issues, then once you have done so, discuss solutions. I pay $600.00 per month which isnt a small sum but once they arent selling and generating commission you have to use way way too much time to get then to pay, to get them to do anything that you pay for. They try harder not to help then it takes so much longer. Wouldn't it be better not to work so hard not to help? Moreover, from the outset, although the driver, who has no license and caused the wreck, SF did everything it could not to cover it, and only after Demand for Adequate Assurance of Performance did they finally stop trying to avoid their obligation under the policy. I had no claims adjuster actively helping me figure out how to proceed on total loss because they were out and the agents were too busy saving their time for sales so I lost alot of time which I earn my living on trying to get thru to anyone for help. Joe and Marcia were always " busy on a call". Once I got help by going to a different agent who saw my situation wasnt being taken care of, that two pending claims required planning around execution, rental and surrender and then I finally got a clear path. Unfortunately the entire week went by without rental on one car and that time cannot be reclaimed after total loss. The policies are on the pricey side, but payouts tend to be fair and maybe thats worth what you pay, but I would definitely just steer clear of this specific agent because his lack of customer definitely isnt worth the premium. They're likely paid minimum wage, plus commission and can't cut a living unless they focus only on sales and alienating existing customers by refusing to help even when the app doesn't work, is incomplete or you literally have tried to get help thru other means but cant. Cant State Farm afford to pay these folks a better wage? Seems like they could but choose not to. I wish I had not chosen this agent and so glad I left his agency."
